5 Steps to make books on the system

Publishing system 4.0 is a simple book publishing tool. Put your book content into the system, edit as you like, and create beautiful printed books, eBooks, and web book. This article will give you a very quick overview of the system, can be explored in more detail in the rest of the System User's Guide.

INSTRUCT 5 SIMPLE STEPS TO CREATE A BOOK WITH PUBLISHING SYSTEM 4.0

Step 1: Create a book.

Step 2: Add your book information.

This information includes important elements such as the author's name, title, and copyright license. This information can be added to Section Book information.

Step 3: Add and organize your text.

Import manuscripts or add to your chapters, then structure the content on Item Layout.

Step 4: Choose your book theme.

Themes are design templates for your book that you can choose by visiting Display > Theme.

Step 5: Export your book.

Output formats include EPUB (cho Kindle, Nook, iBooks, and more), PDF (to print and print on demand), and web book (can be viewed immediately without exporting).

STEP 1: CREATE A BOOK ONLY

You can register an account at oes.edu.vn. During registration, you will create username and password. You will also need to provide an email address for us to email you to complete registration and activate your account..

STEP 2: MORE INFORMATION ON YOUR BOOK

Book Information where you add and edit important information about your book, called metadata. This includes information such as:

  • Title
  • The writer's name
  • Publication date
  • Publishing company
  • Copyright license and notice
  • E-book cover image

Some information is required, such as book title and author's name, when we use it to automatically build the essentials of your book. Most of the other elements are optional or can only be used as far as your book is concerned.

Step 3: Add and organize your text

You can add and organize your text from Sections Layout found in the left sidebar menu of your book dashboard.

This will be how you access all your chapters and content to create or modify your text. You can also reorganize chapters and sections of your book to change the layout.

You will see three main sections of your book on this page:

Contents of the book: Content in this section may include your introduction, preface, Thanks, and more. You can read more in our guide to Headline Content.

Chapter: This is the main part of your book. The main body can be divided into several Sections. You can learn more in our guide to adding sections and chapters to your book.

Contents at the end of the book: Content in this section may include your epilogue, author's conclusion, Appendix, and more. More details can be found in our guide to End of Book Content.

Add, edit, and rearrange the contents of your books in Sections Sort.

Import

Item Sort not the only place you can add your text. For more information on other ways to enter your text into the system, carefully read our guide on How to Import Your Book into the Publishing System 4.0.

Step 4: Choose your book theme

Everyone who uses the Publishing System 4.0 everyone has access to more 10 professionally designed book templates we call Theme. The theme you choose governs the display of all your outputs, including PDF, eBooks, and web book formats.

Themes determine the typography of your text and chapter title page design, among other features. The themes of the system provide many categories, From textbooks and monographs to science fiction and romance.

You can browse the topics by visiting Display > Theme.

You can hover over any topic and click Theme details to view information about that topic and its intended use.

Theme options

Many other design elements of your book can be customized in Theme options after you have selected the look and feel of your book. These customizations include page size, split, and more.

The choices that you can make in your theme options are divided into four sections: Global option, Web Options, PDF Options, and Optional eBooks. Generic theme options that apply to all of your book formats and include elements like displaying a table of contents, language and script support, and show license chapter.

Each of the other three theme options only applies changes to a specific book format. This is because the web, PDF, and eBook versions of your book created with three distinct style sheets. This allows you, Eg, have a paragraph split for the web version of your book and another paragraph for the print version of your book. These types of customizations are important considerations when considering your text accessibility.

Step 5: Export your book

You can export four of the five supported book formats from Section Export, found on the left sidebar menu of your book's dashboard. These formats include:

  • In PDF
  • Digital PDF
  • EPUB

The fifth supported book format is your web book version, which you can view by hovering over your title in the top menu in the system, then click Read book.

You can also export some other test formats of your book. Note that we do not provide technical support for any of the following file types:

  • EPUB 3
  • XHTML
  • HTMLBook
  • OpenDocument
  • XML
  • WordPress XML
